Your New Favorite Pizza Parlor

Mamma Mia’s Italian Pizzeria is the place to visit in Wallburg, NC for authentic, New York-style pizza and Italian food. Salvatore Looz, our owner, was born and raised in Naples, Italy. When he moved to America, he opened several Italian restaurants in New York. Aside from Mamma Mia’s, Salvatore currently owns several restaurants in the Triad, including Times Square Pizza in Lexington and Winston-Salem as well as Elizabeth’s Pizza in High Point. Salvatore and his family were also the original owners of Elizabeth’s Pizza in Lexington.

Being a part of these communities is important for Salvatore. Alongside his managers and staff members, Salvatore enjoys sharing his love for good food with the residents of North Carolina.

We stand out from local pizzerias because we follow the same authentic Italian recipes that we used in New York. Also, we utilize the same quality bread and homemade sauces that we use up North.

By using fresh ingredients and time-tested techniques, we have created a haven for New York-style pizza in the Piedmont Triad. In fact, 9 out of 10 New Yorkers have told Salvatore that our dishes are the real deal!
